I lovingly dedicate this Website entitled "Skylar's Wish Children's Charity" or simply "Skylar's Wish". In memory of my youngest niece Skylar Jean Knappenberger, (Sky). We pray that everyone visiting this Website will become aware of the crucial importance in giving of yourselves to save lives! Without healthy individuals graciously donating blood on a regular basis. Patients needing blood transfusions may die, before receiving their life giving gift! Without healthy individuals registering to become a organ donor upon their death. Patients needing organ transplants may die, before receiving their life giving gift! It's quite possible to become a living organ donor to a patient needing a kidney, a liver or bone marrow. What if it were you or a dearly loved family member or friend, in need of an organ or bone marrow transplant? Life is precious, uncertain and fragile. NO person is guaranteed to live beyond one second. Please consider donating your organs upon your death, in effort of granting the gift of life to dying patients. Please discuss your decision to become an organ donor with your loved ones. Your generous gift of life allows you to live on through your donor recipients!If Sky were alive today, if possible, I'm confident that she would've founded a children's charity. To financially assist income qualified families of children that have illnesses, needing an organ transplant. In memory of Sky and as a beginning to fulfill a promise, I had made to her. On a summer day before her death in the spring of the following year. Recently, I've officially founded a children's charity and currently, I'm in the process of filing required IRS children's charity forms. For the purpose of the IRS allowing Skylar's Wish to become a tax exempt childrens' charity. A full payment in the amount of eight-hundred ($800.00) dollars to the IRS and filing an IRS 501c3 form for a non-profit and tax deductible children's charity is required. In effort of Skylar's Wish becoming a non-profit and tax deductible charity. We need the help of generous and gracious financial donors in able to afford this eight-hundred ($800.00) dollar 501c3 tax deductible charity form.Currently, any donations preferably in money order form or a local check numbered over 1000, may be post-mailed to the post-mailing address below. Skylar's Wish board members are in the process of creating required written policies and/or bylaws. After the process of filing required IRS non-profit forms is complete. An official announcement will be posted on this Website and Skylar's Wish Facebook Webpage. Also a Skylar's Wish Tweet will be Tweeted on Twitter. Skylar's Wish Facebook and Twitter account links are below.We ask everyone that are blessed with health, wealth and/or ample free time to volunteer and donate. If each person blessed with health, wealth and/or ample free time, were to graciously donate their money and/or volunteer their time in our fundraising events.Perhaps Skylar's Wish will have ample funding to assist the entire state of Missouri. Though currently, we hope to assist income qualified; *Central Missouri families of children near Leclede County. Children born with Biliary Atresia - BA and/or children needing/receiving an organ transplant in urgent need. As the quarterly financial budget allows, income qualified families may receive financial assistance with substantial medical insurance co-payments and deductibles. Non covered medical and personal necessity items that are donated or purchased. Out of every donated dollar, 90% will be spent on substantial co-payments and deductibles. In addition to non covered medical and personal necessity items that must be purchased. The remaining 10% will be spent on Skylar's Wish expenses. Listed below is a list of necessary business items needed to allow Skylar's Wish to continue in helping seriously ill children and their families. Skylar's Wish is in its infancy, your patience is needed as funding accumulates and affiliate businesses donate items. Listed below is a list of necessary and urgently NEEDED items.
